Over the time I have spent with the Lord my love has grown. The Bible began to be interesting. Hearing and talking about God was not boring. Having quiet time when it was just me and God became exciting. I looked forward to having 30 min. to 2 hr. to set aside to the Lord. I began to see God as a friend not just some mystical person up there far away. I realized God was close and near and when we would spend time with him we would get closer and closer to Him. I began to feel His presence with me. I began to talk to Him as a friend. Like how I would talk to a regular person. I understood that He hears my prayers and wants to answer them. Challenge yourself to send 10 min. with the Lord this week if not more.
