Hey hope you all are doing well. OK so, when you have your God time or whatever you call it when you talk to the Lord. Try sitting in you closet (yes, the one you hang clothes in:)) Just once try it. I thought it was a pretty crazy idea. I mean can't you talk to the Lord sitting on the couch just as easily. Well you can, but it helps sitting in your closet because I mean why else would you be in there. I mean how many other things do you do sitting in your closet. So just try it and see how it works.

There is a new urgency in the body of Christ. Time has started ticking. Ever since Israel became a nation the clock started ticking again. It is drawing closer and closer to the day of the Lord. Darkness is increasing at a rapid speed so is light as the darkness gets darker the light will shine brighter. People are calling good evil and evil good. "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." Isiah 5:20 People are labeling evil as good and we are buying into it. I was just reading in National Geographic kids a sneak peak at a book that is now out called "Museum of Thieves" OK. So I read the big bold statement of the book. "Sometimes it Takes a Thief to make a Hero" When has a thief been good. Stealing is evil. No matter if your a Christian or another religion stealing is obviously evil. We have made that the kids books in America. Putting it before children who can not discern deception and let them have their hero be a thief. Tangled is another example the hero in the movie Flynn i a thief. Look people. Open your eyes to the deception that is coming like a storm. We are being fed with what the world says with our eyes closed. Listening to it because it is what we want to hear. It does sound good to our itching ears, but it is not truth. "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Why is it so entertaining to read about awful things happening to people. We must know truth. If you love to read like I do be constantly on alert for deception in books. I would encourage you to just read the Bible because it is absolute truth. They will call you a fool for wasting you life. It will be worth it all. As in the days of Noah scoffers will come and laugh. You have to build your relationship with the the Lord so you will not be shaken, deceived, or utterly confused. Because you do not know the truth and you will be offend at God. You will not know what he said and you will be utterly deceived. Seek truth, seek God. Trust only in him not in America, Obama, your parents or anything else except the Lord.

Pray for David Wilkerson's (a reverend in NYC) family because he died yesterday but I am sure he is very happy he did. Now he is with his Heavenly father!!!

This song is about a person but listening to it I thought of the Church in America. The Church as a whole is being led in so much deception. 1 John 4: 1 "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." It says test every spirit and people who claim they are prophets. Some people are way off but others twist it up in the truth and slowly lead people away. In the song it says does anybody see her (the church) does anybody hear her. Under the shadow of our steeple. It is going on all the time and nobody sees it. Inside the church it growing rapidly leading people astray. What our teachers, preachers, friends, even our parents we have to make sure it lines up with the word of God.There is nothing else we can trust. We have to know the word of God so we are not led astray. What you hear people saying, teaching, reading. I f you cannot find it in scripture do not believe it even if it all sounds good. Even if everyone around you agrees with it. Because as the time for the Lord to come back the wickedness and false teaching will increase and we will have to stand strong in the Lord. Ephesians 6:14 With the belt of truth buckled around you waist" Matthew 24:4- 5 "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming , "I am the Christ" and will deceive many." Matt. 24: 11 "And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people." Matt. 24: 23-24 " SO if anyone tells you, "There he is!" or "There is the Christ!" do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and preform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect- if that were possible."

God has so many ways he does things. When one door closes others open. Like with Moses in the Israelites He fed them in the most unexpected ways. Manna falling from Heaven and water from a rock. He always has different paths. And he sees you. God has no limit no one who is over God. He is endless in his possibilities. Sending a flood over the earth plaguing the Egyptians who were against his people. And he always has other open doors. He opens doors that no man can shut and shuts doors that no man can open .

Hey Guys this is going to be a short post because i do not have very much time. I would like to recommend Salem Black's blog God loves... Hope you all with look at that. (It is a GREAT BLOG!!!) God will give you grace to walk with Him. Trust me, my journey with God did not happen in 1 day. NO WAY!! It was a slow process, but as I drew closer to him his presence began to increase, I was able to walk in peace and love, I felt His love as a father. Through it (It is still going on YES!) I have drawn closer to the lord and fallen more in love. I want the cry of my heart to be COME BACK LORD!! I WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE!!!
God is our Refuge. We can run to Him and He will hide us in His tabernacle. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. Ps. 27:5 We can run unto Him and He will hide us. We can find that secret place in His tabernacle where we are shielded.
God loves you. "For God so loved the world He gave his only son that who ever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16 When God says He loves you He really means it. Sacrificing His only son. I know after Jesus rose from the dead and went back to the father but when Jesus was dying on the cross with all the sin of the world God had to pour out all His wrath against sin. God is so holy He could not even take away some of the consequences away even though it would all go on His son. He sees when you are afraid He sees every move you make. Now that can ether really scare you or make you really happy and excited. It means He sees you in you room on the Internet He sees you even when no one else sees you. On the good side He sees every time you think about about Him every time you do something kind for someone even when no one else is looking. He is your father He does not evil things to come against you. He wants you to love Him just like a Father. He wants you to talk to Him like a friend.
God is higher than everything on this earth. Nothing is to hard for Him. I know it is hard to believe. because our human minds cannot comprehend it. But he can set you free from whatever you are struggling with. I know the devil comes in torments us. It is not fun but God can set us free. God does not want us to live under the lies of the enemy. I always felt like "no one else struggles with this" "Why do I do this" " is it just me" " God obviously messed up when He was making me" all these things would race through my mind. I always thought well if God loved me than I should not deal with this stuff. Then I realized we had to come before the Lord and ask Him to set us free of bondage and strongholds. It might be personnel or generational or whatever but it is not to big for God. I would recommend first ask God to set you free but after it might help to talk with a parent, teacher, consular, good friend ect. that is a Christian that would be able to help you. God has all we need. Nothing in this world will ever satisfy us. We were meant for something greater. God wants us to have all of or fountains in Him. When we are in trouble we need to go straight to God. No matter how much money, clothes, good looks it will never make you happy. It will for a time but soon it gets old and you want something else. When I started growing closer to the Lord. Regular duties were not so hard. Once you start getting (water) from God you are able to share it with others. You do not need to be afraid. The Lord sees you. The Lord has shown me that He is our protector. God does not want us to struggle with fear. In my own life fear has been in my heart. Fear of failure and fear of man. I was always afraid of. What if I fail? what if everyone laughs at me? What if? What if? that was always on my mind. Then I began to see myself as God saw me. And what people thought and said began to fade away. I realized how special I was to Him. What people thought about me, my clothing, my house, my parents, how I talked etc. It did not matter because I was before a higher throne. And that was Heaven. I looked at myself how God saw me. Its easy to get caught up with. I don't look good. I am not beautiful. I am not thin. I do not have this. I wish I was more athletic. All that stuff began to clog up my mind. You will never look perfect you will never have every problem fixed but that is why it is called life. That is why God sent His son Jesus. You might look like you have everything to the world but inside t will bring you no happiness no joy no life. money. food, clothing, cars it will all go away and soon you have to have something else. It is like a big wheel you will always need something else. Unless you dial into what God created you to look like and act like and do physically/mentally. Some it is music, art, athletics, education. God did not make you by mistake. He loves everything He created about you. Some of you may say I don't struggle with that. That is what I said at first too. Then I began to realize there was always fear in my heart. Some of it would just be crazy ridiculous fears and some would be the tiniest little thing that you would not even think is bad or not right in your life at all. There is something we are always thinking about. The Bible says to think on things that are above. Not how much you want to slap the person next to you, or tell your mom what you have been thinking about her for the last few days or be mean to your brother or sister. But for you to think about how much God loves you and ask God to let you see people through his eyes. Ask God this coming week to set you free from fear no matter what kind. Over the time I have spent with the Lord my love has grown. The Bible began to be interesting. Hearing and talking about God was not boring. Having quiet time when it was just me and God became exciting. I looked forward to having 30 min. to 2 hr. to set aside to the Lord. I began to see God as a friend not just some mystical person up there far away. I realized God was close and near and when we would spend time with him we would get closer and closer to Him. I began to feel His presence with me. I began to talk to Him as a friend. Like how I would talk to a regular person. I understood that He hears my prayers and wants to answer them. Challenge yourself to send 10 min. with the Lord this week if not more.

This week I started thinking about sharing my journey, my journey with the Lord and coming out to KC. Ever since Facinate 2010, my life has really changed. Not that I have not had those hard times and been away from the Lord, but my outlook on life is different. Instead of what is the least I can do for the Lord and get away with, it is now how can I make every moment of my life count? I realized just spending 30min. with the Lord everyday helped. It gave me peace when I slept. It gave me joy doing regular things like cleaning and doing school. I found out what the Lord thought about me. That He loves me and really does care about what happens to me. I saw that the Lord loves to help us and to answer the questions we ask Him. Being true to the Lord is not about going to church or listening well in a Bible class, it is about what you do in the secret place when no one is watching. About every moment you say a 10 second prayer or think about how you love spending time with your Creator. It is so simple yet hard. "And if you look for it as for silver and search for it as hidden treasure then you will understand the fear of the Lord and fnd the knowledge of God." Proverbs 2:4 Here is a video that I thought applied to seeking after the Lord. I know it is about ice cream but it still blessed me.
